FOR HUMANS & AI

A URL in. A timestamp out.

Calculations run in PHP on the server. Any client that can fetch a URL can get a result without JavaScript, an account, or an API key. Give your assistant this website's URL or the machine-readable guide.

Query parameters

Dates without surprises

Use an explicit date and IANA timezone. Europe/London automatically accounts for British Summer Time. A nonexistent time during a daylight-saving jump returns HTTP 400. A repeated time also returns 400 until you choose an occurrence. Other invalid inputs return 400 with an error message.

Without a date or Unix timestamp, the server returns the current time. The interactive page initially selects your browser's timezone; API requests default to UTC. Discord displays the resulting instant in each reader's timezone and language. Previews are illustrative and may differ from Discord's exact formatting.

Using it with an assistant

Use https://timestamp.itssolar.dev/ to generate Discord
codes for 1 November 2026 at 8pm in Europe/London.
Fetch the result using its JSON or text query interface.
Return the date & time and relative time codes.

The assistant needs web access that permits fetching query URLs. A website cannot enable browsing for an assistant without it. HTML contains calculated results too, for tools that read pages instead of JSON.

No credentials or cookies are required. JSON allows cross-origin GET requests. Responses are generated on demand and marked no-store.
